Ebay messages taking hours to get through

Hi, Wondered if anyone else is having this problem. The last couple of days any messages customers send to me are taking about 6 hours to come through.

The last one was for a combined postage message, I didnt received this message until after the buyer had become impatient and bought the items anyway and sent a payment request with an abrupt message. I sent the buyer an invoice wondering why they where being short then hours after I got the message.

Another one today was from a buyer who had purchased from me, I sent the usual message saying when the goods will be posted but then got a message a few hours later saying the wanted the stuff posting to a different address.

Its hard enough keeping your DSRs up with the bank holidays without this. Im stuggling to keep up with whos asking what and what ive still to do.:mad:

Just to add, theyre not showing up in my ebay or my email.

I posted something earlier about not being able to get any mail through to yahoo addresses at all. I was so desperate yesterday to contact a buyer I ended up having to phone them as nothing I sent, even via ebay seemed to reach them.

Hi, sorry I missed your previous post.

I get mail to google but its directed from mozilla neither of which are getting the emails so i think this must be an ebay problem as the messages arnt coming through there either.

Its so frustrating, if its taking me 6 hours to get the messages then presumably its taking a further 6 hours for them to get the response. Im sure this is not the norm, I would have noticed before now.

At the moment ebay is obsessed with being the cheapest that it forgets that most of us sellers also rely on good customer service and fast response.

It seems to be repaired now! Looked to be a 24 hour glitch!
