Renovating Old Doors

Hi,
Just moved into a new edwardian house today and removed the plywood that is currently nailed to the original doors.
Unfortunately the beading within the door panels has been moved - does anyone have any tips of where to get new beading from?
Thanks.

local builders merchants would be your best place to start0

Local decent timber yard is another option.0

Any B&Q or similar diy shed have a large selection of mouldings of all sorts of profiles.
If you are planning on painting the doors, then the colour/type of wood the mouldings are made of shouldn't matter.
If you are planning on having them bare wood, and/or require an exact match to beading on other doors, then a good cabinet maker should be able to recreate the profile you require in the correct wood.

you could try a reclamation yard for reclaimed beading, which would probably blend in better than new wood.
Or my FIL has a door and furniture stripping/dipping business and has loads of old beading removed from doors. There are a few of this type of company around the country so you may have one locally to you that could help.0 -
Thanks all. It seems I was a little hasty - took the ply wood off the remaining doors and the majority still have the beading. So, out of a total of 9 doors only 3 need the beading.
Tried B&Q today with no luck so will start looking for alternatives.
Thanks.0
