FACT OR FACE

PLEASE PLEASE TAKE NOTE, MY MUM (SHES 63), SHE HAD A MINI STROKE 2 WEEKS AGO, AND IT WAS MY 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO RECOGNISED THE SYMPTOMS FROM THE TV ADVERT.

What a wonderful daughter you have. You must be so proud of her. Glad that you mum is on the road to recovery.

I have to say I think that the FAST adverts are very good.

What a great thing to have been able to do.

There is a history of strokes in my family and I know how devastating it can be

Thank you seadee, same here my nan (mums side), she had 3 mini strokes literally one after another), she passed away 18yrs later she was in her mid 80s), just frightening, so far they have put her on asprin.
Maybe its the kick up the rear both mum and I needed as we are built for comfort not speed.

Well done to your daughter indeed.

Please don't forget that its not just older people who have strokes. Anyone at anytime can be struck by one. My fiance aged 33 suffered a brain hemorrhage (stroke) last June and if it wasn't for the quick minded people around her she wouldn't be here today.

Those adverts should be banned... they scare the pants off me.

If it happened to me there'd be nobody around to spot it and make the call.

That's a pity. At least the adverts will save others who come into contact with people.

They scared the heck out of me in all honestly, but as from personal experience you never know when you or someone you know will appricaite that advert, I know we do.
