Glad to see that they are starting to turn up now, do you mean you got the £40 voucher to spend in currys or you got a voucher for a freeview box, we are being told that powergen are waiting for the boxes, then they will send them out, signed up in mid Oct still nothing, they have promised me an answer by tomorrow as to what is going on....

It was a voucher for a "Complimentary Freeview box" attached to a letter of thanks for choosing Powergen.

Got my voucher for the freeview box this morning
but . . .
I went to currys this morning and they have none in stock. The chap then tried five other places and all had none in stock, though I was watching on the screen and in each of those stores, they had at least 2 faulty boxs in stock ???

I did ask when they would get them in but was told that they have a delivery on Tuesdays (Hedge End) but there was no way they could say if they were going to get them then :-/

Oh well, I think a quick chat to Currys Customer service may come in order.

Received my £40 Currys voucher today – Account with Powergen went live on the 30th November – Nice one.

Forgot to mention that Powergen have also credited 1,000 Tesco Clubcard points [£10] to my account.

Picked up my Freeview box from Currys in Botley, Oxfordshire this morning.
Matsui DTR 1 which sells for £69.99 in store.
Shop had loads in stock.

Went onto Powergen 23rd Nov, voucher for freeview box came on 18th Dec ;D went into local Curry's & they didn't have any >:( & couldn't say when any would be in, said I would just have to keep calling in to see if they are there ???

Signed up for Powergen in mid October - changed over to Powergen in mid November - expected to get Freeview box sometime in January after a struggle (as had heard nothing).

Voucher arrived the day before yesterday - went to Currys - they had not seen one of these vouchers before and were amazed that they were giving Freeview boxes away - on the shelf at £69.99 - handed one over from the stockroom without any quibble.

Box installed yesterday just in time for Christmas - Kids over the moon!! ;D
