I have just spoken to customer services at Paypal regarding some goods that I ordered from a website which turned out to be fakes. They told me that there is absolutely nothing at all I can do about it as they only resolve issues conducted through Ebay. I just want people to be aware of this when using Paypal to pay for goods outside Ebay. The customer services rep admitted that it is in the small print but most people are not aware that they have absolutely no come back if using to pay for other goods!!!
Please...be very careful and make sure the website is legit before using this payment method.
Anyone want some fake GHDs, that don't even work????

Unfortunately s.75 doesn't cover PayPal but there are others ways around this. Issue PayPal with a small claims summons and they will refund you and cancel your account. I've done it twice, scammers! Lost on iPhone and 1st time was a PS3. I just issued small claims for the total plus claim and they sent a cheque to me and paid before court. It aint worth them defending so they do pay out. Just be brave and ensure you have plenty of evidence, then write them a very stern letter with your threats.
Then send a copy to the directors, costs a couple of quid to get details from companies house - add to claim if goes that far, and copy the directors into your threat at their home address.....
I don't have the details i'm afraid, I am not allowed to give them out - part of my letter content they sent me with cheque and 501 terms to adhere to, such as like no press details and no explaining the process to break the PayPal integrity - I refused that because I clearly said they had no integrity else i'd never have threatened with court action LOL2010 - year of the troll
