Judge freezes credit claims

A judge has frozen more than 100,000 claims by indebted borrowers attempting to write-off credit and loan debt by using a loophole in the law which could make the contracts unenforceable.

    That is good news. Now we just need some common sense to be given in the outcome.

    It should put an end to people using these dodgy claims companies for this. Although I bet you they will still cold call and get people to pay for it.

    On that last point, even more I would think to get in their upfront fees prior to any stays coming into effect.
