Quidco after Go Compare etc. Will they pay cashback?

Hi
Sorry if this has been asked before (done a search - but couldn't find an answer). After I've tried for car insurance quotes on Go Compare and Moneysupermarket, can I successfully use the Quidco site? There's a kind of warning that comes up that makes me think that if I've generated a quote via the searcher sites, Quidco won't do the cashback.
Anyone know for sure please?
Thanks

Hi,
I got 2 different quotes for the same company - one via gocompare and other directly on the insurer's website. (Difference is £70 quids, with gocompare being cheaper)
Now, if I am going through quidco, I will have to directly go to the insurer's website to be eligible for cashback.
I will not be getting any quidco cashback if I go via Gocompare.
Am I missing something?0
