Failed BACS transfer

Hi,

Thought this might be a good place to ask this.

I recently put through a BACS transfer from MoneyBookers to my A&L account. Unfortunately, it seems I entered an incorrect - and completely invalid - account number (A&L have confirmed this).

MoneyBookers haven't been very helpful here (their CS doesn't see to respond). Can someone tell me how long it would take for this to "bounce"?

Three days to get there, then three days to bounce back - assuming that it's not sat in an A&L holding account for unapplied credits etc.

It was sent 14:00 on 29/04 so I guess it probably should have shown up by now.

Maybe I should contact A&L again to see if it's sitting somewhere?

Its very unlikely to be with A&L and even harder for them to trace, moneybookers need to make a bank trace to see where the funds have gone - they are likely to have been rejected by A&L automatically and be sat in a moneybookers suspense account.

That is what I am worried about - MoneyBookers seem to be totally apathetic about this and their CS is terrible.
