Extra Person on Credit Card

I'm about to apply for a new credit card, on the application is a section for additional card holders, in case of emergency and things.

I thought it would be really funny to make a false name, along the lines of Dr S. Pendalot or something. I couldn't actually buy with it as Dr Spendalot won't be a legal entity to claim anything back right in an event? Are the credit card company going to be annoyed or is it illegal entirely?

Thanks,

Tim

Well lets put it like this.

It's about as funny as going up to the customs man at the airport (the one wearing the rubber gloves) and telling him that you have a bomb in your bag - just for a laugh.

BTW - The gloves are for the strip search.

    Really really funny NOT.

Yes you can do it but they will refuse as they do an I.D Generic Check with the CRA's and this would result in a CIFAS entry - not worth it but not serious as a bomb in your bag LOL - a little excessive!
