I like the look of the new Eee PC sea shell - bit of a rip off of the Macbook but still a smart looking bit of kit!0

I bought a 2nd hand Apple Mac G4 Powerbook off eBay for £250. This has a CD/DVD drive
Similar spec to netbooks now. Kavanne

I was going to suggest something similar; even a used iBook could fit the bill.0

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. In the end I opted for the Acer Aspire One with XP. Got a cracking deal from Asda Direct and collected it from the store today. Looking forward to having a play with it before I go on holiday ...0

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for all the suggestions - it took me a while to get round to buying it but I got the Acer Aspire - Asda Direct were doing it for £200 with free delivery to the their nearest store. Happy all round!0

How effective a computer is a netbook?
Im really looking for an ultra-lightweight laptop/netbook to run Excel, Word, Outlook and Sage Payroll and Accounts.
Are either the Asus or Acer up to the task?"See you on the Other Side"0 -
