Bensons for Beds

Hi,
Firstly, I am really sorry if this is in the wrong place- I need some advice from someone who has used Bensons for Beds; I don't have any praise, vents or warnings!
I ordered a bed from Bensons and gave my moving date as was requested when I paid on their website.
After I had paid I was told that I would receive an invoice within 3 days, which would advise me about my delivery date.
I received this invoice, but it gave no indication of my delivery date other than to say 'You will be contacted 24 hours before your item will be delivered'.
Are they serious? I can't get a day off work at the drop of a hat, I need to know more than 24 hours in advance.
I haven't had a chance to call them yet to talk about my delivery date.
I was just wondering whether anyone else has had any experience with Bensons? If I call them, will they give me a delivery date (I don't even mind an approximate date, just something more specific than what they have offered)?
Many thanks and sorry again if this is in the wrong place.

Sorry, can't help with your specific circumstances but I bought a bed from them some years ago and it was delivered almost immediately. It's the most comfortable bed (made by Millbrook) I've ever had and I was very happy with their service. Give them a call and I'm sure they'll sort something out for you.

we purchased a double bed there last March (08) and were given the delivery date whilst instore by the salesperson
sorry- have just seen that you placed the order online
I am surprised they didn't give you a guide timescale for delivery - my advice phone them and see what they say - our experience was very straight forward and good0 -
Hi, as above really. We bought a bed from them and like you didn't want it delivered until we moved. We bought it in store but had a fantastic service and were really happy with them and would definately buy from them again. Don't panic yet and give them a ring.Trying hard to remember...
