LV 50 plus Plan CB loophole

I just noticed that Quidco are offering £90 for a plan taken out.

Plans start from £5 per month, plus LV are offering a free gift choice of £30 M&S voucher or a DVD player or 3.3M camera.

I worked out for my dad that a plan at £6 pm will cost £72 per year.
Take into account the £90 cash back and free M&S vouchers make the benefit £48.

Note this is for over 50s only so ideal if you wish to help a parent or relative.
Note the plan only pays out after 12mths, but you gain a refund of payments if claimed in first year. Please read terms on LV website.

Hopefully this will help someone save some cash who was considering such a plan.

If you were considering one of these plans though you should be aware that they are pretty awful and underwritten alternatives tend to offer so much better value for money. Especially if you are aged under 70.

These plans should really be a last resort if the conventional options are not available to you. This is why they have to offer you cheap gimmicks or use personalties on TV to make out they are better than they really are.

Sounds similar to the AXA Sunlife over 50 policy, THREAD HERE, where you don't even need to run the policy after the first subscription, plenty just cancelled and received their free gift anyway and no reports of them being asked for it back.
