Looking for a REALLY remote cottage - any ideas?

This is nice and remote, just a small farm nearby, but you never seen anyone!

It's right up in Sutherland in Scotland. Just about as far north as you can get on the mainland!

That looks very much like Lake Bled in Slovenia which isn't remote at all.

Extremely beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone except someone who is trying to avoid other people as there are people visting it all day. You can pay to be rowed over in a pletna or hire a rowing boat yourself or even swim.

It's probably only half a mile or so from the farmhouse but the farmhouse is then another mile or so from the village. There is a farm track that passes probably a few hundred yards away from it. Apart from that it's just sheep for company

I've not done this but always thought that staying in a Lighthouse should be remote.

Might have trouble sleeping at night though....:rolleyes:
