Loire Valley - things to do??

Hi All,

I'm off to Loire Valley beginning of June - adults only - no kids (well big kids i guess!) - staying between Blois and Orleans.

Any one any ideas as to some different things to do other than the various Chateaux (is that plural??) and museums etc? (we are visiting plenty - just wondering what else the area may offer thats not in the guide books!)

Good food and wine, then a bit more wine and more good food, then more good food and wine.

Also check special events, classical music evenings in great locations, boat trips on the river.

Hire canoes! Get yourself out on the river- it's a great way to make room for more calories, and see the area. :beer:
