Advice required - trying to book seats on TC flight

I've been trying to book seats using the 'Your Seat Your Choice' thing on the Thomas Cook Airlines site on the flight from Manchester to Puerto Plata in July. When I give them my details it says no flight found. However, the flight is going via Belfast, and if I put in my details, with the flight starting from Belfast I am able to go on and look at the seating plan and (I presume) book seats.

Two questions, first, does anyone know why this is? I've tried contact TC airlines who have been most unhelpful, telling me they will phone back, but never doing so. I've also asked Direct Holidays who my holiday was booked with if they know what is going on but they didn't have a clue either.

Second question, if I booked my seat on the Belfast to Puerto Plata route would this be a problem? I don't want to do it and get told off

I've been trying for a month and a half now, I want to book one of the sets of two seats at the back and am getting worried they are going to get taken.

normally found them helpful. i never bothered paying the extra for booking seats on TC flights, and we have never been separated.

Thanks for the numbers, am going to give them a little more time to ring me back but its nice to have a number I can ring from my mobile.

It's not so much getting seperated that I'm worried about, I just want one of the two seats for me and my boyfriend, I always feel awkward if we have someone sat next to us and darent use the toilet 'cos I don't want to disturb us. Plus, its a 12 hour flight, if we did get seperated it's a long time to be sat on our own.
