Lost items

I took the above from a listing which I was thinking of bidding on.

Is this allowed under paypal rules? I thought that if the item was not sent recorded the seller had to refund, if it did not arrive.

Any ebay experts?

It is the sellers responsibility to get an item to you, if they do not and you pay via Paypal then you can get a refund.
This is true no matter what they put in their listing to say otherwise.

That is what I thought, so why do they bother to put this in?

a) it makes them look amateurish, and b) most people will start a dispute anyway in the event of non receipt, so even if they aren't aware of the rules, they will eventually get their money back. So what is the point?

I find individual ebay sellers' personal terms and conditions absolutely hilarious.

I love how people think they have all these rights and instruct you do this and not to do that thinking that they're ever so important and professional. When the irony is, they're trying to look professional but it just makes them look like amateurs.

As a general rule, if somebody's terms, conditions, rules, preferences, instructions, requests etc are longer than their item description then I avoid, someone more human can have my money.

There are still sellers out there that state things like 'payment must be made in 3 days otherwise ebay will be informed that you are a non payer and I will leave a neg'. Hilarious.

I saw an item today, Item must be paid in 24 hours! Jeeez, give us a break!

Won an item last night. Received an invoice just after auction closed, and logged in to my email this lunchtime to find another invoice.

I'm almost tempted to leave it until tomorrow before I pay... Wonder how many more invoices I'd get?

If I buy from someone who writes that I write in the message box "I will expect the parcel in 3 days........."

Lol that is hilarious! Clearly she makes up the eBay & Paypal rules! Oh I'd love for one of her parcels to get missing & see how she 'enforces' these rules!!!
