I'm considering making a purchase and wondered what their finance packages are like, which CRA they use, how stringent etc.

    What's your experience been like?

HFC finance, not very stringent, need something with address on and bank card, they do regular old finance, 6 months interest free etc etc

It's done by HFC, it's not amazingly tough (usually if your a full UK resident you'll be fine). If your worried but down a bigger deposit as it boosts your chances of being accepted.
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.

I was declined last night, PC World Currys and Dixons use HFC (HSBC) for finance, they used Experian for the credit search.

My file credit file has too many searches though so maybe you will have more luck;)
  • Thanks! I don't have any naughties on my CRA but I have a stupid amount of searches.

Do both Currys and PC World use HFC?

Yes - they use the same till system (Eclipse) hooking up to HFC.

The only difference between the two is the logo in the corner!
