Capital One - Again!!

I sent my first letter to Capital One and they sent a letter back stating that I hadnt been missold the PPI. But I sent another letter stating I had. They then sent me a letter stating they still hadnt missold me the PPI but offered me £615.46. I asked for a breakdown and insisted that they owed me more. I have just received another letter stating this was made up of premiums paid up to July 2008 and interest of 8%. Not really a breakdown considering I have been paying right up to at least January 2009 and the account has been opened in approx 2002!! I am really frustrated now, I feel that they are trying it on. Should I give up or still fight on?
Has anyone got any help on this matter at all please. I have had so much help from this forum and its really great!!

Not dealt with these before ,but the fact they are offering you a payment means they must think they are on a sticky wicket with you, they dont do it otherwise. so definately keep on. My approach would be to send a nice thank you letter, stating while you appreciate the offer, you are concerned that the figures are too low because... then detail what you said about difference in offer in dates . Insist that the money offered is for the whole term of the agreement plus interest.
Remeber they are in the game of giving in by stages , some people will be so happy to be offered anything they will accept without really checking, so you keep at them .
