If you have a big bust try bravissimo. Not cheap, but they last - the recommendation is to go for a smaller back size than you are used to for support. It is trial and error though, or you could be fitted in one of their shops. http://www.bravissimo.com/0

Totally agree with Barneysmom and cestlavie,
Very quick change of tune by M&S, damage limitation by the marketing dept. Their sales will no doubt rocket now with the 25% off promotion. Here's hoping there are enough trained bra fitters instore to cope with the demand and not all on their tea break like when I go in.
(I'm not just saying that to slag them off, I used to work for them. There was never one in the dept when you needed one for a customer. They need more trained fitters.)0 -
That's true too, I sat in a cubicle for half an hour once, I think they forgot I was there! I got too cold so went home

They were useless.
The straps not wide enough, those that did have wider straps look like the ones your great nan would wear (on offence) , the pretty ones had no support to them.
If I lifted my arms up, there'd be a big gap under the bust, the whole thing lifted? And that was on all 6 that I tried on.
Think I need parachutes or something :rotfl:
If you need parachutes I need a whole plane!
My mum got measured in M&S, and they told her she was a 44E  ... she is also a 38D anywhere else! I am also a Bravissimo girl, but tend to find what I want there, and then buy it from ebay.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Second that, I'll bet you're not really a 38D, maybe smaller ribcage larger cup?
If M&S are after the big girl market they need to go larger than G and make them available on smaller bras, ifswim.0 -
I think you're right. Just measured, 34 round ribcage, 41 (!!) round bust. What does that make me? (no wisecracks please

Hi BM, I PM'd you with some info.0

I'd just like to add that M&S are rubbish bras for larger cup sizes and I was told to go to Debenhams. They might be 'comfortable' but comfortable does not always mean supportive. I vary between 30-32G/GG and I expect to pay more for my decent quality bras because I want to make sure my boobs are not touching my knees in a few years time!! You can be sure that either a) smaller bras will be increasing in price by £2 or the quality of materials will decrease. I had this conversation on another board yesterday but the extra £2 means you are getting a bra that is made better with better quality materials.
Also to add they are not 'trained' fitters as such, just a lady with a tape measure and tape measure is just a guide the only real way you get get a ba fitted is to try it on, if you find a brand/syle you like then stick to it as they are all made for different shapes and sizes.
Also bear in mind that M&S (and other cheap high street stores) make bras for 'themselves' so they have no set standards as such fitting wise. Get brands - even if they are in the sale as you do get what you pay for and brands are cheaper when a line has been discontinued or changes colour (and this happens every 6 months in some styles!!).0 -

i agree bravissimo is must if your a big cup size, i get my bra`s for them, they are not cheap but worth the money. i had to get my nursing bra`s from them as they were the only shop that sold my size which is 34L cup at moment as my bust has not gone down in size since i had my son. the shop staff were really helpfull and understanding as they are large busted ladies too they what like to find some nice to wear that does not look like a grannys bra.0
