Eggcellent;)...if you ever move down south and need plumbing/heating sorted, you'll be a popular client.

I wouldn't tip them I think tradesman get paid enough
I always polite/friendly offers of tea/biscuits even food on occasions or playing a radio for them with permission of course0 -
as it's a rented house, it's not your responsibility to give the builders a bung ;-)
Give them a large bag of your best wishes :-)The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D
Don't like what I have to say? Call me on 0800 KMA;)0 -

If you feel like doing it go ahead.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Many thanks to all. Yes they've been having brews all week whenever I've been at home to make them. It seems as though a tip is not expected though it might be nice to do so. I'll go with that.
Thanks again for the advice0 -
My tip is if they are good, get their details so you can use them in the future when you have your own house, or friends need a reliable builder.0
