lloyds tsb and a few extra gray hairs

Hey all,
Need advice please. Downloaded my charges from my internet banking, sent them to Lloyds. total in the region of £2k across two accounts.
Had my first letter back a week later confirming it had been recieved.

got the second letter back yesterday confirming it was on hold. I've put the claim through on a financial hardship form due to the fact that HTB was out of work from October until about 4 weeks ago and we're struggling to pay for our wedding in August (there are no more corners i can cut without going to the pizza shop for the buffett and turning up in my old pj's.)

Can I do anything now? They are apparently going to call us to see if we can settle our bills with their help but we've already tried this and their response was to carry on - we were not the worst they'd seen.

all very nice but not very helpful.
thanks
Lesley

Have you got any priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?

From your post, I don't think you are in financial hardship. Banks' are tending to look at priority debt arrears.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Yep- three months behind on my mortgage, currently trying to over pay to catch up. up to date on my council tax but only cause I had them recalculate it and paid through everyone else's payment break.
I also have a series of other little debts that need paying off and money owed to my sister and mother. Nothing massive but I'm not used to owing money.
It would make my life and my stress levels so much better if we got this money through- debts would get paid off which would make monthly outgoings smaller and leave more free for paying for the wedding.

In that case ignore post 2 and remember to emphasise the mortgage arrears and any arrears letters. Keep us updated as to their response. They should send you an income and expenditure form/common financial statement.
    But i have a CFS already(see below) :D

Complete this one and include arrears when you next write to them.
