Hi ya
I bought a lovely large handbag about 30 days ago and yesterday noticed that the seams where the the straps of handbag are joint onto the bag are starting to come apart on both straps - i paid a reasonable amount for the handbag and ex[ected it to last me a resonable length of time.
I've been looking at consumer rights and think that i have the right to ask for a refund under the sale of goods act i think -well at least take it back to the shop explain and stand my ground with politeness and see what they say.
any other help very much appreciated
thanks

yes you have the right to take the item back to the shop and get it exchanged
why do you want a refund?
dont you like the bag now?
if the shop can exchange it for another bag they will have fulfilled there obligation (i think)smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Thanks Robnye for your response
I love the bag and i would take a refund - just that if it's happened once to the bag then won't it happen again to the new bag that i exchange for?? so won't it be a viscious circle???
that's why i was thinking of getting a refund and going else where to get a bag0 -
You are well within your rights to get a refund, you don't need a reason. A handbag should last longer than 30 days. I would probably want a refund too, it sounds like the quality is very poor, so what's to say the replacement won't be just the same. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies
