Have you recently renewed your claim ? It could be what they owe from the start of the new tax year up to when you put in renewed.

Whenever you inform them of any change it will alter future payments- even if there is no big change in the actual award there is always a little 'blip' in payment amounts (but total amount paid won't change iyswim). If there is a big change then obviously future payments will be altered by more. The only way to get the definite answer is to phone them or wait for award letter. If you have renewed you will get a Final 08-09 award and a new Provisional 09-10 award.

I was told to phone back in 48 hours if I wanted more information regarding annual review, payments etc, but I will likely wait a few days more.
I suppose different claims can take a different length of time if more complicated ?

I did this but was advised they were still processing (and was asked more questions about husbands address and also his employer this time!).

Just to say they have now calcuted our O/P from last year (no £25K disregard as we had given a lower estimate than prev yr figs), and we now have a list of payment dates, given to me over the phone. I called to renew on Thur 7th and it was processed by today- pretty good imho.
