N-P told me that monthly DD saves them £25 per month, so they can easilly afford to give £100 Pa back to customers who opt for this.......the question is do Comparison sites take this £100 pa into consideration?.......if i see acomparison, that saves me £90, am i really £10 worse off.........i find it impossible to tell.

Quick answer is yes, they do! The figure shown on the switching sites INCLUDES the annual discount paid 12 months in arrears. It is of course hidden in the T&Cs and is an exit fee in effect. I find it wholly questionable marketing as well. we have already had an example of this T&C being very easy to miss - poster Quentin is ordinarily very very sharp when it comes to T&Cs but even he didn't notice the whole of the discount (DD and dual fuel, amounting to £105) is paid AT LEAST 12 months in arrears. This can also mean you are waiting even longer than 12 months due to 6 monthly billing. Check out this thread:

Yes- i dint know about it and was about to switch.....but i have been assured by NP that once you pass your annual date, you will get the £100 even if your bill will be later.
