Really silly question and not sure if I've posted in the right place but what exactly is a cookie stuffer?
I've seen in mentioned on some of the threads on here and I have no clue what people are on about!?

Not certain of the context, but if you mean a tool to manipulate affiliate marketing schemes so that you get commission that you haven't earned, you probably don't (or shouldn't) want to know. Essentially, it's fraud.

Oh naughty!
It just sometimes you see on a thread "cookie stuffer reported" and wondered what exactly what was going on!
Thanks - I feel more "in the know" now :j0 -
Wow. I can't believe I've never heard that term before, so thanks for asking the question, Beebop. I found this link to an article that discusses 180solutions and their alleged cookie stuffing practices:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hadn't heard of it - I feel better now ;o)0

Hmmm... I was just thinking... Is there any software you can get that will create a backup of certain cookies, so you can delete the cookies in your browser, but have, say, the moneysavingexpert.com login cookie re-created when you start your browser?
Now that would be a handy bit of software!0 -

That article is 5 years old now. I don't have time at the moment, but will look for more relevant material tomorrow evening and post back.
Thanks for digging that one out though.0 -

Use Ccleaner, tick cookies in the cleaner section (I think it is by default), in 'options/settings' set it to start with Windows, in 'options/cookies' , once you've accumulated a few cookies, highlight the required cookies and using the arrows move them to the 'keep' side.Move along, nothing to see.0
