I usedto work for halifax about 7 yrs ago and someone on my dept had the job of trawling through the London gazette registering br customers.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

Well the Co-op comes up trumps again!! My card is due for renewal in July, so looks like I'll have a VISA Debit card  Mind you, I've had no problems with my Electron card - it'll be nice to pay for petrol at the pumps though!! :D

Think again merry, Shell in our area have stopped using pay at pump because cards have been cloned on at least 3 machines locally. So they are stopping this system. I would not trust one of those pay at the pump machines.

I want a debit visa so I can go back to online shopping with Tesco I am in the middle of nowhere with 3 kids so shopping for me in a nightmare!
Of all the things I have lost I miss my mind the most

I'm actually HAPPY with my electron as to book flights, etc (such as with dreaded RYANAIR!) there is NIL charge & the same with holiday transactions, etc...think i will appy for a 2nd a/c with them mid June (housekeeping a/c?? maybe have all dd's coming from this) so i can have debit & electron?? Food for thought-best of both worlds!

Not fair TBH, that you have to wait until your card expires before you get one ... unless you accidentally 'break it'. :D
