I am getting calls from a company called nco europe, i have never heard from them and i dont know who they are. They keep calling asking me to confirm my details which i refuse to do as i dont know who they are and i have no dealings with a company by that name, i refuse to give out my details due to i dont know who they are and i am worried about identity thieft, they keep calling and hassling me upto 9 oclock at night and even have told me what my email address with out me confirming my id. What can i do to stop them calling i dont know who they are and they mean nothing to me.??
I am sorry if this is in the wrong place i have just got off the phone to them and i am feed up with there messing around, i am also on heavy meds due to mentl health problems and there harrasing me is really no helping, this is not an excuse it is a legitimate problem i have and they are really getting to me. Never heard of them myself and as you have no idea who they are you are right not to give any details.
I get LOADS of nuisance calls.
To stop the calls there are 1 of 2 things you can do, you can either tell them to take you of their list OR (i think i got this somewhere on this site) you can ask them to hold the line.....then you go make yourself a coffee and use the computer or watch some TV, apparentley by keeping them waiting you get blacklisted and they don't phone you again.

Okay, they are a DCA. So, it is likely they are attempting to contact you for a debt you may have going on what you posted. Or possibly phishing. With that in mind I would keep an eye on post in the near future from them. Maybe. I don't know. But if you have a debt, creditors often pass it on to a DCA without informing the debtor. Suddenly you are getting strange calls like this, in the initial contact stages then the letter(s) normally next when they have failed to contact you.
There is more here about them (it's a long read but there's plenty on MSE I just found Googling as well about them):

To stop them ... the only sure fire way is to get Choose to Refuse from BT. But it also costs I am afraid and is no longer free.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

You can either go the formal route, or you can have some fun with the DCA ....
