where did you buy it from bigmuffins? i bought mine from tesco for £89.99...i did post on grabbit but i dont know how to link-sorry!!

anyway mine came on friday and had the dough hook,k beater, something else!,a liquidiser, instruction manual and a recipie book that according to the back retails for £20!!!!
i thought all of them...at the very least....came with the dough hook,k beater and another tool(cant remember what the heck it is!!) and everything should have a manual.....i would ring the retailer you bought it from-it sounds to me as if you have one that has maybe been returned to be without manual and dough hook.

I got an old Kenwood on ebay - hence lack of book! Paid £50 but that is including p&p. Is lovely and clean and had liquidiser too. No dough hook but I am sure that I can find a cheap one sooner or later - am not in a rush. Just want a food mill attachment for grinding spices (which would have to pay for anyway) and maybe mincer (hubby wants it so he can pay for it!).

The tesco offer was great but was still a bit more than I had available to spend. :o
Anyway I am happy with my old one (pre-loved? :p ) and looking forward to using it.

Will also try using the K beater to make some bread at weekend and see how it turns out - maybe won't need dough hook after all!

Mainly for the buttermaking, I love it for that! I havent bought any butter at all since discovering how to make it. I simply buy loads of double cream when its reduced in the supermarket!

Theres a thread on buttermaking on here if anyone is interested. :-)

Have you though it might be worth emailing the seller, and ask very nicely if they could check the back of their cuboards and look for the dough hook? Only a thought!
