If you download the attached files into the same directory and then open index2.htm, (so that it uses the CSS style sheet.) I’m stuck trying to figure out this CSS style sheet (I’m a newbie at this), but I want to use a style sheet that I’ve seen and like:
Original is here: http://matthewjamestaylor.com/blog/ultimate-1-column-full-page-pixels.htm
I’m just struggling with a small part of the code to know how to amend it… ideally centring the navigation items on the top and creating a coloured border each side so I have an 800pixel centre column.
See the attached files and the image4.jpg, which shows you the index2.htm page in that I made it up using paint shop pro, by ‘cut and pasting’ the image to try and make it appear as I’d like to finally see it, via the CSS style sheet.
I sent this all to the designer below , but he’s not come back to me, he must be busy. Do you have any idea how I can do this final part of the CSS code to get it to look like the image I created?
sorry I have to links which I will send you if you think you can help. Not sure if I am allowed to put on here in case I get told off.
thank you in advance.
