hi, im about to put a claim in for bacnk charges and was wondering if i should put in a copy of my letter from CAB that i had help out with my debts rearrangement plan last month as proof of financial hardship? It states all the priority debts etc on there. The charges i will be reclaiming arent from within the last year however i will be getting one next month as they tried taking out a standing order on bank hol mon!
Any help appreciated thankyou

If you are in a debt management plan and you have already made arrangements with those creditors the bank will not see you as being in financial hardship. If you haven't had a charge from the last year then you aren't really in financial hardship.
Why are you NOT including charges from the last year? (sounded odd to me).

not all the arrangements have been agreed yet, but however this takes us over £50 a month of the amount we have coming in. I dont have any charges from the last year but my partner lost his job end of 2008 when our baby was a couple of months old. Hence we are now on the bare minimum income.

I would be surprised if the bank paid out on hardship in my opinion simply based on the fact that you are making or setting up payment arrangements and that there have been no charges in the recent history. However, put the claim in and see if the bank do pay out on hardship.
