Hello,
I hope that this is the right place to post?
I am off to Milan in 3 weeks and want to make the most of my stay. I am travelling with a friend and have book a hotel in the middle of Milan. We are hoping to visit Pisa for the day but apart from that what MUST we do or see?
Many thanks

Not made it to Milan yet.
Visited Pisa for half a day on a cruise though, it was interesting.0 -
Pisa is nice, and I'm going back again in June, but I haven't made it to Milan yet. However, what i would like to do is watch a football match, preferably with Inter playing, and walk along the top of the cathedral. The picture of this is on the lonely planet cover, and it jst looks fantastic!!!
Also, I would try a day trip to Florence, too, or combine it with Pisa. My opinion is that Florence has much more to see, but that Pisa is nicer.0 -

Well, first thing would seem to be a search of the forum as this specific question was asked very recently - I remember posting a reply.

I've just done a search and it was you who asked the question before. Why are you starting another thread?0 -
In and on top of Duomo
I can't remember what day but there is an antiques fair down by the river, maybe Sunday. Trip advisor is probably your best bet.
I borrowed a guide book from the library to help us along, so the names of places escape me.
There is some high fasion shops down near the Duomo and the Italians have a good walk up and down all dressed up.
The gallaria is next to Duomo as well. We had a yummy pizza in there.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
& Choo Choo for trains!!0
