Naijapower, don't give me credit, those letters were supplied from NID! There are various different types of letters to send, however this seems to be the correct process.... I am bumping this thread to generate interest...as this has gone off the radar of the forums!
Where are Sutton and NID?0 -

Just one thing. Some of us here are not up to speed on the whole process. I will also try to get my paid defaults wiped off. When I write my first letter to get my CCA. What would be the benefit of this? My intention is to verify the dates of the default as they are a while after I went on my debt management programme. I would have liked them to have been defaulted when this started. I assumed that would be when I defaulted them as the conditions changed?0 -
Oh and I would like to thank a lot of the regular posters on here. Not just for replies to posts by me but just its good to read through the threads just to see what other people are upto as even if it doesnt help me now it would be sure to in the future0

I can see you are fairly new here, so welcome!:T MSE is an excellent website, some peeps here are really top people and they do try to go out of their way to help others!
Sutton, you"re back finally...have you managed to relocate the long letter i sent to you via email that you have not posted on the forum?
As i am an ex sub prime, i do know how unfair defaults (paid in full) is:mad:... it is basically almost no difference to someone who is bankrupt or have CCJ! If you have a single default on credit files, it makes eveything very difficult to have simple things like mobile contract or car insurance (bad credit means higher premium) even if the rest of the credit file is spotless!!0 -
The credit industry system NEED serious reforms, there has been no reforms for many years!
I am a strong believer that a credit file should be judged on how well the indivdual pay back his debts. Now we are in the middle of recession, i know the criteria will be easier once the economy starts to recover as millons will have at some stage missed payments or defaulting on their credit agreements.0
