I've just checked Symantec and they've never heard of it - so I don't think it is.

just ran a check using AVG and they too do not think its a virus, ran spyware and microsoft spyware and ad aware also symantec and nothing found.

It sure doesnt look like a virus to me, i would suspect that something else killed 'yer mates pc' and the fact your first post on MSN was 'its a virus delete it quick' seems a bit odd!! Troll springs to mind ????

As far as I can see this prog is fine for anyone that may be worried, it does have a few ads on it every now and then but they are harmless....

you need to download msn messenger and then add the address to send messages to it. The reason it opens outlook, is because it's an email address it thinks you want to send an email.

if you go to https://www.msn.co.uk

or https://www.msn.com

and download the messanger from there.
