in Credit cards
Hi all,
My company have decided we are no longer to have fuel cards and we shoukld pay for it up front and claim in back!!
I thought it would be a good idea to put all this additional spend on a rewards or cashback card so at least I get some benefit from it.....
I intend to repay the card in full each month.
I usually shop and fill up in Tesco or Sainsburys and I could put my grocery shopping on it as well.....
I expect Fuel to be about £100 a week and £50 - £100 for groceries...
I've contacted MBNA and their cashback card gets me 0.5% on the first £500 each month so thats £2.50 - £5.00 a month (doesnt seem that much) and their rewards you need a lot of points to get anything decent??
Am I better off getting a Tesco's clubcard credit card???
Any suggestions?
thanks
Lisa

tesco sounds better+dont forget the clubcard points and clubcard deals can add up.
american express had thier cashback card at 5% for 3 months then teired cashback till 1.5% which i thing they still do, thats another option
or halifax 9months 0% on purchases/ sainsbury 12months 0% on purchases--and save the monthly spend elsewhere.
overall tesco sounds the best0 -
Amex platinum - highly recommended.0

or halifax gives 1% on fuel and groceries, so you'd get about £8 a month.0

Hi,
Amex Plat now limited to £100 CB in first 3 months.
Tesco Card - Apply via the leaflet in store and get 12 months 0% on purchases. Not avail online...
Hope this is of use.0
