how many negs?

Hi peeps!!

I bought 5 items off one seller! 2 of the items are crappy the rest ok but the seller is being well cocky and basically deserves a neg! what do I do? I feel bad leaving one but they were threatening etc! (Won't go into details) thing is if I leave 2 negs will they be taken off Due to feedback attacking or something like that?

only one neg counts to the total anyway,
but, if they deserve a neg, leave them one (but watch as they'll likley neg you back)
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

This is the problem with feedback, buyers are always to scared to leave Neg feedback as the seller will usually give the same back. but even if they do give you negative feedback just click on the follow up link on your feedback page to explain that the seller gave it to you in return out of spite.

I have also sometimes reported this to ebay...
    another trick is...
You can leave feedback on an item for up to three months so if you wait for the three months you can leave feedback just before they stop allowing feedback on item..
so the seller can't leave you feedback because it will be too late!!

Don't rely on the 90 days and then the feedback option disappears, in most cases it is quite possible to leave feedback way beyond that time.

I recently got a retaliatory neg (yes I'm still seething about it!) from a non paying buyer for a transaction dating back to last october.

You can only see the option in your feedback centre for 90 days, but you can get to the feedback page by other means.

I know all this......thanks anyways guys!!

They left me positives when I paid! but I don't want the negs to be removed as it is called attacking feedback ....or something like that! I think I remember something about this anyway?

  • Leave the negs if they've left your feedback already. They can only remove the feedback with your permission. Had the same dilemma recently, the seller had left +ve fb and basically wouldn't refund a bad item. Just kept saying neg feedback me then, so I did! You get right of reply to anything they say with the follow up comment.

They can only remove the negs if the are really nasty. Just leave negs stating something like *problem seller, avoid at all costs*

    The can't remove them.
