I pay £80 fitted for 2 x Goodyear F1s GSD on 195/50/15s using the mytyres site, otherwise around £110 fitted from decent tyre place.

Had a brand new Encoro tyre 185/65/14 for £33 fitted, balanced and new valve. Same time I had a puncture repair done for £15. Could have got my puncture repair done from a different garage for £10 - but the way they treated me when I quotes etc I just didnt want to give them the custom.

£90 a tyre - they better be good tyres!

.....and i pay £60 fitted for budget performance 215 x 40 x 17's fitted and balanced. Definately been screwed.

    I just paid £68 for Toyo 215/40 ZR17 PXT1-S.

As to the OP - your tyres are the only things that keep you on the ground - better to replace the tyres at a cost to you in £ rather than a cost to you of your or someone elses life. 3 years old is about the life of tyres as the rubber starts to crack and degrade. You might feel ripped off but at least you've now got a more safe car. Always worth shopping around for quotes too before you take the car to a garage.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I got 4 Kumho 205/65 R15s for £140 at Micheldever last year for my C5.
I think tomstickland & I are fellow posters on a Citroen forum.
