Nationwide will no longer accept one of their own counter cheques as cleared funds into a flexaccount.
The branch told me that it was a policy change, to protect me from fraud!:mad: This, despite the fact it was from an account I closed last week, and was able to produce the passbook.
The call centre (Sheffield) told me that the society had never accepted counter cheques as cleared funds, another Nationwide stalinist rewriting of history.
