Money required in a day

Hi

I currently need around £8000 to complete on a house but a certain amount of the fund will not clear until Monday.

I have £5000 available in one current account and about £2000 in another current account. So this will produce two bankers drafts.

Where can I get the additional £1000 quickly? Additional overdraft? 0% credit card. Do banks and credit card companies do one day balance transfers?

If a cheque written today is what you need, have you any credit card cheques that you can write?

Egg credit card [if you have one] allows you to 'balance transfer' straight to your own [or anyone's] bank account. If done today [Thursday] it should reach the account on Monday - as you require - quicker than a cheque in other words. Interest will be charged at 1.167% per month outside of promotions.

If you know a loan shark in my area who can beat my overdraft rate then I'd be glad to know about them. My overdraft rate is 8.9% BTW.

Just open another bank account that offers 0% interest on overdrafts.  I did
