I am soo mad!!

For 2 years now I have had a charge on my BT phone bill for a Lineone (now Tiscali) Surftime fee £15.30 per quarter. Every quarter I dilligently phoned Tiscali to cancel this as we have never used it, and are in fact using BT Broadband. Every quarter Tiscali informed me that yes it was cancelled, but still we are being charged for this!!

BT won't take the charge off the bill as they say they can't, Tiscali need to do this. Tiscali say they can't do anything as it is already cancelled there end.

I've told both of them I don't care who cancels what I just want it off my bill and to stop paying for a service I have never used!!

Any advice?

Have you tried ringing BT and when you get through to them asking straight away to speak to a manager? Its amazing what you can get done when you do this! I was fed up of getting messed about with a company and asked to speak to the manager as soon as the call centre representative asked how they could help me I said can I speak to a manager please and I was treated like royalty that day!!

Failing that -

I think the best thing you could do is to contact Ofcom - their website is http://www.ofcom.org.uk they are the regulators for the telecommunications industry.
