Halifax online banking - misaligned transactions

When viewing my Halifax current account online, the transaction amounts have become misaligned with the transaction descriptions. They are out of synch by one row.

I have contacted Halifax who explained it is a known fault, caused when a debit card refund has been issued.

They told me it would rectify itself when there was enough activity on the account for the debit card refund transaction to drop off the bottom of the page.

This has not been the case, and I'm now wondering whether I'm going to have to wait for the next time the transaction list is automatically cleared?

Anyone experienced this? Not a major problem, but a real annoyance when trying to decipher my transactions!

Having used Halifax online since virtual inception ..... have to admit that's a new one on me! And I thought I'd seen most of what they have to offer. ;)

That didn't happen to me when I had a debit card refund earlier in the year (Feb? March?)

I did get the impression it was a reasonably recent fault.

It'll be as a result of a fix somewhere else in the system!

which browser are you using? Internet Explorer 8 misaligns, but you can correct it by using compatability mode.

You're an absolute star - excellent first post!

I am indeed on IE8, and even as I installed it, I just knew it wouldn't be a good idea.

    Thanks very much!

(Worryingly/unsurprisingly (delete as appropriate) , I told the Halifax helpdesk operator exactly what browser I was using.)
