Just had to say that I tried Twinks hobnob reipe today, I've been entertaining my 4 year old DS and they are absoloutely GORGEOUS, I chucked some dried cranberries in, really lovely. One question, sorry if it's dumb but can they be frozen? I want to save some for my Mum but won't see her until next week. I know if I don't freeze them I'll scoff them
yes they freeze ok, i usually line an old icecream box with greaseproof paper and pop them in, lid on
The coffee shop in our local Garden Centre makes Cranberry and Orange scones. Just make a batch of scones and add the zest of an orange and a good handful of dried cranberries. If you dont have an orange, juice would do just as well.
Thanks Twink, I've just posted another thread about this - doh!!! Forgotten I'd asked on here. oops, gorgeous hobnobs, will defo make them again. Thanks soooo much.
The other day I was needing a sauce to go with something... umm.. can't remember what... so I made an apple sauce with cranberries...
Oh I remember, it was a nut roast, and I thought it needed something 'saucy' to balance the dryness of it. Might be worth considering it for savoury dishes??
