Holiday cancellation insurance?

I'm hoping someone can shed some light for me. I booked our Florida holiday on Tuesday for November 2010 and would like some sort of cancellation cover up to that point. So now I'm a bit clueless as to what type of insurance I should be looking at!

Ask for travel insurance. A policy that covers your exact dates of travel is likely to include cancellation cover. An annual policy might not provide the protection you feel you need.0

An annual policy WILL cover you, providing the event that causes cancellation falls within its period of validity. So you'd need to take one out now and renew it in a year's time to maintain cover.
Checking the small print would still be a good idea0
