Adobe reader is just that (if that is what you are using) it can save a copy but read only. If you want to amend it you will have to have PDF software. i.e. PDF converter or of course Adobe, but I haven't found a "freebee" that actually works so they do cost. Unless someone knows of a good free one????
Always get a Qualified opinion - My qualifications are that I am OLD and GRUMPY:p:p0 -
Go to file hippo and download Foxit reader (if you are using firefox as a browser) it now comes with an editor and it's free. It takes up a lot less space than adobe as well so i deleted adobe.
To convert into PDF i use cute PDF also from file hippo.
Both are free and come with all instructions.
Hope this is of help

Download direct from the Foxit website here:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
And make sure you download the ZIP version of Foxit - the installer also installs a toolbar or some other junk, if I remember rightly.0

Yes it does. Ive downloaded it now out of curiosity and unticked the ASK toolbar. But on installation it STILL installed the ask toolbar AND foxit toolbar
Both now removed (Kept foxit for now to try out):idea:0 -
I think the OP is looking for a way to edit someone else's PDF, and I believe PDFill should be able to do that. As far as I know, the free edition of Foxit Reader does not allow editing.
This is true, however if you can get the Foxit PDF Editor, it is well worth getting. Its really good!0 -
Depending how much you need to edit the document PDF-XCHANGE VIEWER is free and allows limited changes to a PDF document - www.docu-track.com/home/prod_user/PDF-XChange_Tools/pdfx_viewer/0

GIMP does pretty much everything that PhotoShop does - for free. No free, as in beer, zippo, £0.. Including import of .pdfs...
http://www.gimp.org/windows/
(If you are running Linux/Ubuntu you've probably already got it)
Cheers!
