I don't know if was Bookie's original intention, but I think it could be an excellent idea, that should work well with the main business.

How's the AQAing going BB?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
AQA was going very, very slowly..........too quiet to even bother being on it in the afternoons........sigh......ah well, went to get the paper and there's a part time job I'm going to apply for. Better salary than my current part time job, not the solution but at least it would be a step up financially. Also sent my CV to the head of the school I was teaching the sixth formers saying that if they ever needed a short term cover cookery teacher or for a few lessons I'd be interested in joining the school. I could also teach Media Studies or Drama with my career experience and my degree (I'm determined to use my bloody Drama degree one day!) so I mentioned that also. Might as well tart myself around!

Bit of a manic day for me today but home now, eaten feet up and on the laptop so happyI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hiya Sally......the problem is, the merger has slowed to an almost halt. I have seen all the JD's for the structure and there are 3 jobs I could go for that won't have people already put into (because they already do it) and that I quite fancy. Problem is, I'm not wholly qualified for any of them, mostly lack of number of years experience for one of them, a qualification I'm missing for another and although I could the third (the best paid of the 3) I'm not sure I'm quite up for it confidence wise - it is a real networking 'hi, great to meet you again' kind of job. Bit too suited and booted for me I think......so I'm still stuck with jump now and miss out on something I want where I am really happy working, or hang around and be turned down when there are a couple of other opportunities around outside my current department.....dunno......
