Holiday insurance to India

My travel insurance is due for renewal in August. My original one covers me for europe but in november I am travelling to India for 2 weeks.

Can anyone reccomend where I can get a decent deal. I'm 31 female with no health problems

I have looked at the various supermarkets and the cheepest seemed to be almost £30 but my europe was is only £16

Thanks

Jo

Martins latest EMAIL and article has this deal
Cheapest annual travel insurance. £15 for singles, £28 for families. Updated GuideAnnual travel policies cover a year's trips away; go away twice or more in 12 months, and it's usually cheapest. Hidden deals: To be table-topping, some insurers offer cheaper prices via comparison site Moneysupermarket than direct. If so, the links here say (msm) & take you there. Annual Europe-only: For basic cover, InsureMe 4 (msm)* costs £15 for singles & £28 families, but with high excesses, and Direct Travel Silver* is £19 singles & £30 families, but doesn't inc. holiday cancellation. Annual worldwide cover: For singles, OUL Direct (msm)* costs £21, again with again a high excess, and for families it's £35. Warning! We've picked on price; always check the cover and excesses are suitable for you before paying. Remember you should make the change/upgrade now as if you leave it till the current insurance expires and something happens to foul up the trip to India, you won't be covered with your existing deal.

Since your current insurance is Europe only, it might not provide even cancellation cover for a trip to India.

Do consider a policy that is just for the dates of travel, as well as an annual one. I quite like the cover provided by 24/7 (I posted about this policy in January in this forum) although when I needed to make a claim the customer service was not quite what I had hoped to receive.
