I am rather puzzled over something I thought I had bought on Monday using my Paypal account. I am now wondering if there is something dodgy about it, and if they've somehow stolen my details in some way, because although I clearly remember buying it, there is now no record of the transaction on my paypal account. I've checked my bank account, too, in case I used my card, but there's no record of it there either and I'm certain I used Paypal.
I bought two small items from a website I'd never used before. I could 100% swear I used my paypal account to pay for them - I remember a separate window popping up, rather than it taking me to the Paypal site, which I thought was a bit strange but it all looked legit and I entered my details.
The website T&Cs state that after your initial purchase it may take a few days to process your order and then send you a separate paypal invoice for P&P depending on the weight of your order. I haven't heard from them yet, but then it's been a bank holiday weekend. I didn't receive a confirmation email from them, either.
Does it sound like I've been screwed? I've been in to my paypal account and changed the password just in case, but it's just so WEIRD that the payment isn't there! Something else I bought on the same day off ebay is showing under "payments sent."
Am I allowed to say the name of the website here, in case anyone knows anything about it? Any advice would be appreciated...
Maybe I'm going mad and I never bought the things at all in the first place!!

Sounds odd, PayPal is ususally pretty instant. I an't think why you shouldn't name the website. Are you certain you pressed the final "Confirm" at the end of the transaction?0

Thank you for your reply!
It's reviveholisticbeauty.com
I have googled them to check and they do actually seem to exist as a beauty salon in Stockport. They also have a website to sell beauty supplies online - the website I stumbled across when looking for something.
I am puzzled!!
Maybe I did something wrong.
I would be more relieved to know I never actually placed the order in the first place, than to find out that I did and my details have been stolen...0 -
do the basic thing of changing password on paypal and any other financial place you use the same password just in case ,0
