On IVA and still having problems....

Hey All,

I have been on an IVA for just over a year. Now on my second year. Everything was looking fine. In the first year my debt to HMRC (Income Tax) was included, but after my IVA and my lowest outgoings, I only have around £30/40 to my self for emergences/extra.

I now owe an extra £2600 to HMRC which will be due in Jan 2010. Should my IVA people (Blair Emb) included an estimated amount towards my Income Tax? The reason I ask is that I should be saving at least £220 a month to go towards my yearly income tax, but I can't do this if I only have £30/£40 left at the end of the month. Because during my first year on the IVA the debt was included, I didnt have to worry, but I now have a new debt for the following years.

Has my IVA people calulated my IVA monthy figure wrong, or is it now time to go down the route of bankrupcy?

I cant keep paying towards my IVA, plus save £2600 a year when most of my income goes towards the IVA.

Thanks,
Darren
