Have a dead Mac iBook? FREE repairs, ends 18/12

If you have a Mac iBook with a "dead" screen, won't hold a battery charge, cuts off for no reason, or can't even recognise the AC cord, you probably have a faulty logic board. Apple is fixing iBooks with this problem FREE until 18 December 2004 -- you only have to call them by then, not get the machine to them.
I have been a Mac user since 1984(!) and have had good & bad custoer service experiences. Let's just say that this deal has not been widely publicised outside of specialty web sites like https://www.lowendmac.com -- which is a site I thoroughly recommend to any Mac user, I've picked up tons of useful tips there for making your kit last longer. Anyway, if you thought your little Mac laptop was dead and gone, call Apple ASAP--you might get a pleasant surprise!
