i have had loans of direct line and was told i had to have the ppi over the phone i paid of the loan before its settlement date does this mean i cant claim my ppi back can anyone help me with this thread

Hi there

You can still reclaim on the PPI plus interest if active or settled.

The difference is, if successful, you will receive ALL of the PPI, plus interest etc.

If a loan is not settled, you get back what you have paid in sort of thing, so in your case it should be the whole lot.

I paid mine off and was refunded in full plus more.;)

More details in reclaiming here, follow the procedures on the link to reclaim, with the template letters, but add your own reasons.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond.

Keep on at them, in the final letter response, they should give you details of the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), if your not satisfied with the outcome.
Post all letters by recorded delivery.
