do I risk a hardship claim

Twelve months ago I was in financial difficulty. I decided to speak with my bank directly (HSBC). After a few months of dead ends and negotiations, they set me up with a managed loan. From this point on, my debt has been reducing month on month and I am now living well within my means.:j

During my dark financial day I am almost sure I was at least paying £100 p/m in bank charges, which went on for some time.

So my question is, can I retrospectively claim hardship from before I took out the managed loan?

Can HSBC remove the managed loan from me and demand full payment of the amount I owe them?

I do not wish to profit from this process, but mealy reduce my debt.

Thanks in advance for your advice

The hardship provision is for people experiencing severe hardship now, not in the past. I really don't think you'll get anywhere by claiming now.
Console youself with the knowledge that when the banks lose and payout your settlement should include 8% interest, better than any savings account at the moment and you can then use that to reduce your debts.

Totally agree with Carlos on the hardship issue. No they can't recall the loan because you claim bank charges back.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
